In the face of my naive understanding of taxon concepts, I don't entirely grasp what might be the consequences of the annotation (and reality) on NameSimple to the effect that a NameSimple might be constructed from atoms in the underlying database. There being no algorithm specified for doing this, is it not possible that two TaxonConcept objects might be textwise identical in all respects except the NameSimple. Is this case supposed to be handled by deeming them two concepts, even though their ScientificNames are the same and they are the same set of specimens described by the same text in the same publication? Is this a simple matter of congruence to be added to the RelationshipAssertion section?

A special case of this (for me) quandry is the case where there are two TaxonObjects with utterly the same XML text, including the NameSimple.
